A Quick & Easy Guide to They/Them Pronouns is exactly what its title promises: clear, friendly, and straightforward. This short graphic guide breaks down the importance of using they/them pronouns in a way that is accessible and nonjudgmental, making it a great resource for both newcomers to the conversation and those looking for a refresher.

What I appreciated most was the tone. It is warm, humorous, and disarming without losing sight of the deeper significance behind pronoun use. The back and forth between the two authors offers multiple perspectives, and the comic-style format helps make the content feel inviting rather than intimidating. It is an excellent tool for building understanding and empathy.

While short, the book covers a lot: why pronouns matter, how to correct mistakes, and how to advocate for respectful language in daily life. It encourages reflection without preaching, and its simplicity makes it easy to pass along to friends, family, or colleagues. This is a great example of how something small can make a meaningful impact

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
