Therapy in VRChat is redefining the delivery of support services, especially for people who may feel overlooked by traditional approaches. It provides an environment where participants can authentically engage, explore and experiment with different parts of themselves.

Why it works:

– Avatars allow for deep identity exploration

– Sessions feel less intimidating and more accessible

– Creative expression becomes a tool for healing

– Social interactions feel safer and more manageable

– It supports those who are neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+ or anxious in traditional spaces

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
