Pronouns are the words we use to talk about a person when we are not using their name. These might be they/them, she/her, he/him or other pronouns. Some people use one set of pronouns (eg. Rae’s pronouns are they/them) and some people use more than one (eg. Laura’s pronouns are she/her and they/them interchangeably). It is important to respect everyone’s pronouns. When it comes to learning new pronouns for someone it is necessary to practice.
