Mental Illness Attributes

"With this art I tried to list all the things that come with my ADHD and bipolar II on one side of the page, and then reflected on how I have the habit of trying to put a positive spin on them on the other. I definitely feel the compulsion to make up for what I perceive as deficits, but I'm trying not to do that. I'm trying to see what are genuine strengths that come with my neurodiversity, not just things I've learned to compensate for.
That's why over the top of the writing I've drawn pictures of some of my interests. Because my focus comes and goes in waves, I have a lot of different hobbies, and I definitely haven't touched on all of them here. Sometimes I see this as a weakness too, but the truth is, it's kind of amazing that I have so many different outlets for my creativity."
