“With Rae’s help, I have been connecting with my inner parts — the different facets or identities within me. I recently discovered www.heromachine.com, which is a wonderfully retro flash website where you can create your own characters. It’s designed for fantasy games like D&D, but I really enjoyed using it to make avatars to represent my parts. It feels really good to be creative and to connect with myself in this way. I made avatars for three of the parts that I’ve been working with lately: Tacoma, my inner chaotic masochist; Hypatia, the organizer type; and Maddy, my inner beautiful weird child.”

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
