“My Thoughts

This piece represents my inner world.

The coloured dots are the masks I wear - a protective layer shielding me from the expectations and pressures of society.

The bold splashes cutting across the surface are my brain refusing to conform - a raw expression of my need to be heard, to be seen beyond the mask.

Blue represents the ocean within me — a calm center that remains despite the chaos. It’s the stillness I return to amidst the storm of irrational thoughts.

Each part of this painting reflects the push and pull between quiet and noise, calm and confusion, masking and truth.

This is how I see the world.

This is how I survive it”

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
