October 8 is International Lesbian Day!

This day is a time to celebrate love, visibility, and the power of community.

It honours lesbian histories, cultures, and identities, while reminding us of the importance of solidarity across the LGBTQIA+ community.

Whether you’re out, questioning, or simply wanting to show support, this day is about celebrating authenticity and connection.

Let’s lift each other up and keep creating spaces where every lesbian story is seen, valued, and cherished.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
