Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is made up of four modules: mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. The main goals in DBT aim to teach people how to live in the present moment, develop healthy ways to cope with stress, regulate their emotions, and improve their relationships with others. DBT skills and techniques can be adapted to fit the needs of an individual.
