Day of Silence
Day of Silence takes place on Friday 10 April 2026. It is a student-led demonstration where LGBTQIA+ students and allies take a vow of silence to protest the bullying and harassment many LGBTQIA+ young people continue to experience in school settings. The day also raises awareness of the silencing, exclusion, and erasure of LGBTQIA+ people in schools.
