Sexual health belongs to EVERY BODY.

The 2026 theme for World Sexual Health Day is Every Body. This is a reminder that sexual health, rights, justice and pleasure belong to every person, in every body, without exception.

Sexual health is about more than preventing STIs. It can include consent, communication, pleasure, relationships, contraception, reproductive health, body autonomy, access to healthcare, and feeling safe and comfortable in your own body.

Stigma, shame, discrimination and inaccessible healthcare can all create barriers to sexual health and wellbeing.

Every body deserves sexual health information, healthcare and support that is inclusive, respectful and affirming.

This World Sexual Health Day, let’s make sure every body is included in the conversation.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
