“Title: this drawing honestly didn’t have a title. Sometimes my drawings do, and sometimes they don’t. So I guess I’d call it “untitled”. With this, and many of my art works, the image grew from the process, rather than being pre determined. I really like just seeing what grows on the page and appears in my mind when I gaze upon the emerging shape. I love using the brush pens to ink the spaces and create figure/ground ambiguity. My inspirations are Celtic knot work, Pacifica/SE Asian tattoos, and the art of Philippe Druillet.”
