“Hi, I’m Tye (they/any), an independent support worker open to working with new clients.

I’m queer, trans/non-binary, neurodivergent and disabled, and I have lived experience as an NDIS participant. I know the importance of connecting with compatible supports, and the difficulty that marginalised people can face when navigating these systems. I always work in a way that’s affirming, personalised, and non-judgemental, believing that every person is the expert on their own life.

I have experience as a support worker, and a Graduate Diploma of Counselling, which has helped to form the professional ethics and person-centred style that I bring to my work.

I currently work within a ~45 minute radius of Heidelberg, but am open to further distances by negotiation.

I can be contacted via email at tye.giannake@gmail.com with any questions, or to request a free meet & greet.”

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
