“I placed the orange slices in the oven at 80 degrees celsius until they were dehydrated (approximately 5 hours). Then I cut a slit in the flesh, looped some string through, and hung them on our Christmas tree. I love how the light shines through them, almost like mini stained glass windows. They give off a sweet scent and have a gorgeous colour. Looking at them, I am reminded of how lucky we are to enjoy the many fresh foods grown in our garden and local community.”

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
