International Non-Binary People’s Day is July 14!
On this day, we celebrate and recognise non-binary people and the rich diversity of gender experiences that exist beyond the binary of male and female.
Non-binary is an umbrella term that encompasses many identities, including agender, genderfluid, genderqueer, demigender, pangender, and many others.
Some non-binary people use specific labels to describe their experience of gender, while others do not. All experiences are valid.
International Non-Binary People’s Day is an opportunity to increase visibility, challenge assumptions about gender, and affirm the right of every person to define and express their gender in ways that feel authentic to them.
Not every non-binary identity is represented in this image, and no single graphic could capture the full diversity of non-binary experiences.
What matters most is respecting each person’s unique gender experience and recognising that there is no one way to be non-binary.
