“Hi, my name is Rue.

I am a the host of a DID system and trying to save money to access private ileostomy surgery to save our life.

We have experienced gross medical neglect over the last two years and as a result our chronic illness has deteriorated significantly. We are tube fed, and receive all nutrition, hydration and medication via this tube directly into our small intestine.

We are needing an ileostomy as our bowel has become completely paralysed and we are experiencing constant pain and severe nausea every single day.

Please help us save our life.

Thank you so very much.”

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
