May is Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month.

During this period, we collectively are reminded of the important role we can play in raising awareness.

Throughout this month and beyond, it is important go support victims and survivors of family and domestic violence.

It takes courage to seek help, speak out, and begin the path to healing.

Resources available for support include:

- 1800RESPECT Australia: 1800 737 732

- DVConnect Women’s Line: 1800 811 811

- DVConnect Men’s Line: 1800 600 636

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
