A Burnout Tool

This tool supports reflection and planning to reduce burnout and promote wellbeing by focusing on three key areas.

Each of these elements plays an important role in life, and giving attention to all three creates the strongest stop to burnout.

Capturing them in writing, drawing, or any other way helps you hold onto what supports you and make space for it.

The three areas:

• Having autonomy in your life

• Feeling connected to what matters

• Feeling understood and supported

Reflective questions:

• What helps you to feel this way?

• How could you find more of this?

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
