“This piece was made with fluid paints, letting the colours move and mix together without too much control. I chose these shades because they remind me of the bi flag but also because they flow into each other in unexpected ways. That felt right for me because being bi often means holding space for fluidity and complexity. For me creating art is a way to embody pride. It reminds me that my identity is not just valid but also creative, expressive and worth celebrating.”

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
