Translation Fatigue

“This artwork emerged from a supervision session and reflects the experience of translation fatigue in a neurodivergent context. The layered upper form holds complexity, depth, and multiple ways of knowing, while the downward flow of the paint reflects how energy can be gradually drawn out through the repeated need to translate internal experience into dominant professional language. The piece does not seek resolution, but offers space to reflect on capacity, sustainability, and the kinds of support needed when translation is ongoing rather than optional.”
