It’s Transgender Pride Month!

This month we celebrate trans lives, voices, love and joy. It is a time to honour those who have shaped and strengthened community.

Pride is not only about visibility but about living authentically and being recognised for who you are in every space you enter.

Trans pride is also about connection. It reminds us that belonging is built through care, respect and listening.

When we celebrate trans joy, we celebrate the brilliance that flourishes when people are free to be themselves.

Together we continue building communities grounded in compassion, safety and equality for all.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
