GBKS Interest Group Connect & Chat

Writer's picture: Rae Sabine Rae Sabine

Hi, Rae here. I’m excited to be co-facilitating this event as Deputy Convenor with Convenor Dr Gávi Ansara and Leadership Group Member Francis Voon.

PACFA’s Leadership Group of the Diversity in Gender, Body, Kinship, and Sexuality (GBKS) Interest Group invites you to join us to connect and chat at our online gathering on Tuesday 29th October 7-8:30 pm AEDT (Naarm/Melbourne time).

We understand how vital it is to cultivate spaces that prioritise “own experiences” sharing from people who have equity-deserving gender, body, kinship, and sexuality lived experiences and communities, and look forward to co-creating this kind of anti-oppressive space with you.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
