The newest member of the sensory garden is Senecio candicans, Angel Wings, a striking perennial whose soft, silver-green leaves invite touch with their velvety texture, offering gentle, grounding moments for all the senses. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been enchanted by the way its subtle, serene presence adds a sense of calm and visual softness to the garden, a quiet reminder of nature’s ability to soothe and nurture, filling the space with a gentle, comforting energy.

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land where I live and work, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. I acknowledge that this land was never ceded and always was, always will be Aboriginal land. I pay my respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

I celebrate, value and include people of all backgrounds, genders, sexualities, cultures, age groups, spiritual beliefs, physical abilities and disabilities.
