I was in the middle of reading when Shōga jumped right onto the book. He seemed to notice that one of the characters looked just like him, the same golden colour in the fur. Maybe that’s why he decided to join in for storytime and make sure we didn’t miss the resemblance. Shōga jumped onto my lap while I was writing case notes the other day. He was completely sure his input was very important and tried his best to help by sitting right next to the keyboard, purring like he was doing serious work. He’ll have to wait his turn for the collective braincell though. Ginger cats only have one to share, and it clearly wasn’t his turn.
